The Alfred Dunhill Links Championship will be concluding on Sunday, October 2nd, the day we are scheduled to arrive in St. Andrews from Edinburgh.
This is a unique tournament played on three courses. First three days the players rotate around the Old Course, Carnoustie, and Kingsbarns. Players have amateur partners. The final day for the pros is on Sunday, October 2nd, at the Old Course.
Tickets: Entrance to the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship will be FREE at all three courses on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. A ticket price of £15 (concessionary £10) will be charged for the final day’s play over the Old Course on Sunday, October 10. (Note: This date is wrong on the http://www.alfreddunhilllinks.com website so this is potentially last year’s information.)
We’re looking at a crowded town of St. Andrews on the day we arrive. Celebrations with the winner in the Dunvegan maybe? Does anyone want to get tickets to get on the grounds on the Old Course to follow the players in the last round? Or just stay away until late in the day?
